MacGregor - a novel about the '45 rising |

| "MacGregor" is a novel written in 1995, the 250th anniversary of the 1745 rising. It tells the story of the Macgregors in the last Jacobite Rising of 1745-1746 through the eyes of Robert MacGregor, second son of Gregor ghlun dubh MacGregor of Glengyle. Robert was one of my ancestors and while his father took a major part in the Rising and his actual recorded exploits are all included in the novel, I have found no evidence that Robert took any part, so his role is imaginary.
